Shop update

Going Live | Apr 22nd, 10AM PST

The website will be down ~30 mins before 10AM to prepare for the spring launch.

Presets only

I will be releasing 13 trendy spring nail designs for you to choose from and there will be higher quantities available than usual. These will be available for browsing a day before the shop opens.

I recommended browsing the shop ahead of time to decide on what you’d like so you can check out quickly to secure a spot.

No mystery, custom, or artist’s choice sets will be available this round.

Processing time

As always, expect a minimum of 2-8 weeks processing time. Depending on the number of orders this launch, the processing time may change. Ship out is expected to be in June. Follow on Instagram Stories for updates/changes.

US shipping update

I have changed the shipping options for US orders. Lettermail shipping is now only available for cuticle oil and sizing kits. Untracked parcel shipping has been removed so all nail sets will be sent out with tracked parcel or expedited shipping. Tracked shipping costs have decreased from $15 flat rate to $12!

I am very fortunate that no nail orders have ever been lost in the mail, however there is a chance it can happen. These new changes are lower those chances:

  1. Lettermail shipping has never been popular for US orders and is very rarely picked
  2. Lettermail and Untracked parcel shipping have a higher risk of getting lost.
  3. Tracked & Expedited shipping provides the best assurance for your nails to arrive safely. I decreased the flat rate price to compromise for removing the untracked parcel option.

I hope you guys understand this is to ensure your nails get to you the safest way possible!

watercolour nail art

Watercolour nail art is a really popular new spring trend this season. The MORE Art Liquid collection’s best selling art inks have sold out multiple times in Korea already. I used their art liquids to create this elegant marble design and also the blue rose! I also used the white and purple liquids to make a wispy wisteria design. These nail designs will be available in my spring shop opening.

MORE is launching their Art Liquid Season 2 collection which features brighter pastel colours too! Not only that, but other popular Korean brands have also come with new watercolour ink collections. Here are a few I’ve seen so far (I’ll update them with links when they are available in shops):

oil painting gels

Textured painting gels are not exactly new, but they are definitely getting more popular. I created this oil painting effect using BEVLAH’s Mulgam Series 1 collection (they also have a Series 2!). I must also mention the highly anticipated release of DVOK’s CANVAS collection coming soon to Sweetie Nail Supply. The collection comes with 26 tubes of solid cream textured gel allowing you to create nail designs from minimalistic brush stroke nails to full on oil painting scenes. These two designs will be available in my spring shop update.

Clear Blobs trend

I’m not sure what trend is called exactly, but its been around for at least a year or two already. 3D clear blobs have been included into many fun nail designs and these are three ways that I’ve done it for my spring shop update! The first is in a wavy line to create a 3D caterpillar, the second one has 3D blobs encapsulating some stars and moon, and the third one has the 3D blobs encapsulating flowers to create a fresh, dewy look. The nail products I used to make these 3D blobs are Yogo 3D Clear Clay Gel and Jin.b Crazy Top Thick Gel.

Floral nail art

Floral nail art is always popular especially during spring and summer! This year, I was so lucky to be gifted two amazing floral glitter collections by Bevlah – Cottage Core and Rococo Fantasy. They are both floral glitter collections that I was going to purchase for myself anyways! The two sets here feature nail designs made using colour gels from Rococo Fantasy and glitter gels from both Rococo Fantasy and Cottage Core. The glitter flakes are so unique and realistic compared to any other floral glitter gels I’ve seen. I love encapsulating them to create 3D designs such as the 3D bow and bear!

Let me know what your favourite nail art trends are! Thank you for reading and I hope to see you at my spring shop update :).
